Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. That is what the Word of God says. But when is morning coming? This is the question many ask when they are stuck in a situation for what seems to them far-too-long. They are trying to trust God and doing all they can to trust in His Word, but are finding it difficult to trust the Word when every day they are more and more overwhelmed.  What is one to do?

Although brief, the testimony shown below reveals how this individual trusted God in the midst of their trouble to see them through.

Psalms 37:5

"Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust in Him also, and He shall bring it to pass."

Trust God in the midst of trouble. How do I do it?

By having faith in God, by just believing in God’s Word. Down through the years I learned how to trust Him in all things. As I begun to put Him first, troubles became less stressful. There are times when some trust in themselves, someone else or other things.

There are times when you reach a point of helplessness and don’t know where to turn, when it seems that you are all alone, when the tears begin to flow, and you’re depressed, it is then that you remember I can trust in God. But I say trust God first.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) says, "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not to your own understandng; in all of your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths straight."  My knowledge is limited but the Holy Spirit that lives in me, allows me to have a trust that I know not. When you trust, there is no doubting or complaining. I asked the question “Why me”? “Why not me”? Then I stood still to see the Salvation of the Lord. Only He can work it out like no one else. I made it through trouble by “Trusting in God”.

Oh the joy when peace (relief) comes. I realize that God heard my cry and answered. My heart rejoices as I have a calm assurance that the Lord has made a way.

TRUST IN GOD AND DOUBT NOT.
